Life is meant for community, connecting, sharing, discovering, exploring, building, expanding, mastering, improving, enhancing, beautifying, bearing the burdens of others to help those that cannot help themselves, loving, and giving.
In other words, the meaning of life is to be productive in everything you do. Expand, multiply and increase all of the good you generate. Share it with the world to make it better.
The purpose it serves is to bring uninterrupted renewal, restoration and development to people for continued progress around the world. Although there are forces and individuals that will always oppose these efforts, we are to stay focused on making advancements in lifting people up in our neighborhoods, communities, cities, and nations.
“No individual has any right to come into this world and go out of it without leaving behind him distinct and legitimate reasons for having passed through it.”
- Dr. George Washington Carver
What that means for the individual is that the meaning of life is to discover your own skills and talents. Then discover what burdens you have for society. What do you want to make better in the world that you just can't stop talking and thinking about? Merge your abilities and your desires for what you believe needs to improve, in order to create a solution. That solution you have created results in you having more meaning in your personal life. The purpose it serves is to benefit others.
Ultimately, the meaning of life is never found inside ourselves. It is discovered through meeting the needs of other people. Although our culture continues to condition us to live as individuals only, we are wired to stay connected to people, so we can help and lift each other up through giving, sharing, and selling. We need people and people need us. Essentially, people and their problems give us meaning, as we fulfill the purpose of creating opportunities to serve them through the resolutions we provide.
